Reception

When registering, please state whether a computer tomography, magnetic resonance imaging or X-ray is to be performed and which examination region (e.g. knee, spine, ankle) is involved. In general, the examinations are carried out without contrast medium. If you need a contrast medium for the computer tomography, we need a current creatinine value (information about kidney function) and TSH value (information about thyroid function).

If you need a contrast medium for magnetic resonance imaging (usually for shoulder examinations and long-term joint complaints), we may need a current creatinine value. Our registration team will be happy to advise you about any blood tests that may be necessary when you make your appointment.

For patients with statutory health insurance, we require the referral slip. For underage patients, the consent of one parent is required for each examination.
